The client is a strong Nigerian EPC contractor working mainly with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) and NDPC. Since 2018 it has placed more than five repeat orders with PAC every year, a measure of its confidence in our quality and service; in 2019 alone we supplied over 5,290 tonnes of LSAW pipe. This shipment of 5,920 tonnes of CWC API 5L X60MO PSL2 LSAW pipe, with 3LPE coating and anodes, serves another critical subsea crude transfer project.

In June 2020 a spring manufacturer in South Africa approached PAC. A well-known maker of parabolic springs, leaf springs and coil springs exported worldwide, it sets extremely strict raw-material requirements. The order did not come quickly: two months of investigation and trans-ocean video meetings led to a first trial order of 530 tonnes of SAE5160 spring steel plate in January 2021. The material passed all three customer tests, and PAC now supplies around 2,000 tonnes a year.
