Application scope
EN 10216-3 (Cryogenic Grade) specifies seamless alloy fine-grained steel pipes for cryogenic pressure applications, including NL series grades such as P275NL, P355NL, and P460NL. The grain is refined to ensure low-temperature impact toughness, and they are widely used in high-strength cryogenic pressure applications, storage tank connections, and cryogenic process pipelines.
Typical applications
Primarily used for cryogenic high-pressure gas cylinders, cryogenic pressure vessel connections, and cryogenic high-strength pressure-bearing pipelines, as well as cryogenic process pipelines and equipment connections and gathering and transmission pipelines, NL series fine-grained steel combines high strength with low-temperature toughness, making it suitable for seamless welded pressure-bearing transmission pipelines and connecting components under cryogenic and high-pressure conditions, ensuring safe operation in high-pressure cryogenic environments.
