Application scope

EN 10217-4 specifies welded steel pipes for cryogenic pressure applications, including grades such as P265GH, 16Mo3, P355N and P355NL. It clearly specifies the low-temperature impact toughness and ensures the quality of the weld. They are widely used for cryogenic medium transportation, tank connections, connecting pipelines and pressure-bearing welded piping systems.

Typical applications

Widely used in LNG pipelines, cryogenic storage tank connections and ethylene plants, as well as refrigeration system pipelines and cryogenic process pipelines and gathering and transportation pipelines. The corresponding cryogenic grade can be selected according to the grade. With stable welds and cryogenic toughness, it forms a welded pressure-bearing transportation pipeline system that can serve stably in cryogenic environments for a long time and ensure transportation safety.
