Application scope

EN 10217-2 specifies non-alloy and alloy welded steel pipes for high-temperature pressure equipment, including P235GH, 16Mo3, and various chromium-molybdenum steel grades. The standard emphasizes high-temperature strength and creep resistance, and is applicable to welded pressure piping systems, serving the boiler and high-temperature process piping manufacturing fields. Appropriate grades and delivery conditions can be selected according to specific operating conditions.

Typical applications

Commonly used in steam pipelines, high-temperature process pipelines, and boiler pipelines, as well as in the manufacture of heat exchanger shells and pressure-bearing components. From non-alloy to chromium-molybdenum series, selection is based on temperature. Welded and formed, it possesses good high-temperature strength and creep resistance, making it suitable for pressure-bearing pipelines, piping systems, and components under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions. It is a commonly used material for related pressure-bearing equipment and pipelines.
