EN 10056-1/2 — Structural steel equal angle steel - dimensions and tolerances

Grades

(尺寸标准,无独立牌号)

Application scope

EN 10056-1/2 specifies the dimensions, cross-sectional properties, and tolerances for equal-angle steel structural steel. Parts 1 and 2 provide dimensional series and form tolerances, respectively. It is a dimensional standard and does not have its own independent grade designation. The standard uniformly specifies side lengths, thicknesses, fillets, and permissible deviations in shape, and must be used in conjunction with material standards such as EN 10025 to provide dimensional basis for the manufacture, supply, and acceptance of angle steel.

Typical applications

This standard applies to the dimensional and tolerance control of equilateral angle steel during design, selection, manufacturing, and delivery, covering side length, thickness, cross-sectional properties, and shape deviations, and is used in accordance with the EN 10025 material standard. It provides a unified dimensional specification for the selection of connectors, supports, truss web members, and tower components in steel structures, and is widely used for determining the specifications and quality acceptance of angle steel in buildings, transmission towers, and various steel structures.
