Application scope
EN 10216-2 specifies non-alloy and alloy seamless steel pipes for high-temperature pressure equipment, including carbon molybdenum steel and chromium molybdenum steel, which are usually delivered normalized or normalized and tempered. Grades include P235GH, 16Mo3, 13CrMo4-5, 10CrMo9-10, etc. The higher the alloy content, the better the high-temperature strength and creep resistance.
Typical applications
Widely used in high-temperature pressure pipelines such as boiler tubes, superheater tubes, steam pipelines, petrochemical high-temperature process pipes, and heat exchanger tubes. Covering different temperature grades from carbon steel to chromium-molybdenum steel, it combines good high-temperature strength and weldability, making it suitable for flexible selection of heating surfaces and conveying piping systems according to working conditions. It is a commonly used series of high-temperature pressure steel pipes in the European standard system.
