Application scope
JIS G3460 specifies carbon steel and alloy steel pipes for cryogenic piping, including grades such as STPL380, STPL410, STPL480, and STPL690, with increasing strength and guaranteed low-temperature impact toughness. They are widely used for the transportation of cryogenic process media, cryogenic piping, and pressure-bearing connection pipeline systems.
Typical applications
Commonly used in cryogenic process pipelines, liquefied gas transmission pipelines and refrigeration system pipelines, as well as connection pipelines, connecting pipes and gathering pipelines for cryogenic devices. The STPL grade can be selected according to the medium temperature. With its good low-temperature toughness and weldability, it is suitable for welding pressure transmission pipelines and piping systems under cryogenic conditions, and its operation is safe and reliable.
