Application scope
EN 10025-3 (Low Temperature Grade) specifies normalized fine-grained hot-rolled steel sections for low-temperature structures, including grades such as S275NL, S355NL, S420NL, and S460NL. The grain refinement ensures low-temperature impact toughness, and they are widely used in welded steel structural load-bearing components in low-temperature and cold environments.
Typical applications
Widely used in polar engineering structures, cryogenic storage tank supports and LNG plant steel structures, as well as refrigeration plant frames, cryogenic equipment platforms and support structures. With its good low-temperature toughness and weldability, it is suitable for steel structure load-bearing components and supports welded in cold and cryogenic environments, ensuring long-term stable service and structural safety.
